Sweet potato – Potato Mash

Side dish for 2 poeple


3 Sweet potatos
6 Potatos
Salt Pepper
2 Tsp. Cardamom powder
a little piece of ginger (grated)
2 Tbsp. nutmeg powder
2 oz. butter
1/4 Cup of cream

Peel the potatos and sweet potatos and quarter them. Boil then in the water until they are soft. Let them trough the Passe-vite (food mill). Add the spices, butter and cream to it and stir it to a creamy mash and season to taste.


A dainty side dish with an oriental touch! Goes well with my lamb with basil crust and fig sauce (find this recipe under “side dish”)
