makes 24 mini or 12 normal size cupcakes
For the batter:
3/4 cup of Flour
1/4 cup unsweetened Cacao powder
1 Pinch of Salt
2 Tsp of Baking powder
1/2 Cup of milk
1 Egg
1 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of vegetable oil or butter
150g dark Chocolate
3-4 Chocolate bars (z.B.Branchli oder Torino)
Preheat the oven to 400F/200°C
Mix the Flour, Cacao, Salt, Baking powder, Milk, Egg, Sugar and Oil. Stir it for a while until you reach a smooth mixture.
Melt the chocolate and add it to the batter, mix well.
Fill the cupcake cups 3/4 with the batter.
Cut the chocolate bars in little pieces and press a piece in every Cupcake.
Bake the Mini’s for 15 minutes, the big ones for 20-23 minutes.
Let them cool off, then frost them
Frosting:
1 cup of Butter
1/3 cup unsweetened Cacao Powder
1/3 caster sugar
Mix the Frosting ingredients to a fluffy cream and frost the cakes.
