Maybe you have, maybe you have not notived my absence. In the past year I have been busy and creative in other areas, but I did miss this plattform and all the crazy yummie and creative bloggers I follow and who follow me.
So I wanted to say hello, by posting a really easy little treat: Energy – or Date balls.
Further down I made a short video of the ones I’ve made. If you make some yourself, tell me what kind of combinations you’vre tried! I love to get new inspirations!

Here the Recipe :
- Pitted Dates
- Coconut flakes
Other ingredients you can add:
- Dried Mango
- Dried Apricots
- Wheatgrass powder
- Maca Powder
- Hemp Seeds, Flax Seeds etc.
- Crusched Cashews Almonds, Walnuts etc.
- Carob powder
- Acai powder
- Spices like Curcuma (Turmeric), Chili, Cinnamon, Cardamom etc.
Some of my favorite combinations are:
Cacao – Chili
Curcuma – Hemp Seed
Cacao – Cinnamon – Cardamom
Coconut – Mango
All you need is a food processor and you are ready to prep your Energy balls:
My Choice of the day: Dates, Coconut flakes, Curcuma (Turmeric) powder, Hemp Seeds (Hemp seeds have lots of omg3 fats and Turmeric is anti-inflamatory. This is the perfect combination when your joints start to hurt a big, when the weather gets cold and wet):
and: Spirulina, Chlorella, Wheatgrass powder (This is a great immunboost! Wheatgrass has lots of zinc and the seaweed is perfect for a detox):
These with Energy and Vitamins loaded balls are a great snack before a workout, as a dessert or on a stressful day, when a big meal has to wait.
